WE NEED YOUR HELP -- JOIN THE FOUNDATION WITH YOUR TAX-DEDUCTIBLE DONATION 

The Addison Foundation Science Lab is officially open and ready to help Addison students explore the wild and wondrous world of science!  You’ve seen the fruits of our fundraising efforts and your membership dollars – so please join us this school year with your 100% tax-deductible donation.  Our main goals this year are to increase our membership and secure grants to help us fund a full-time science teacher for the 2011-2012 school year. 

Thanks to everyone’s hard work during Boosterthon in May, we have hired a Science Lab Coordinator to work 20 hours per week in the lab.  Julie Knobbe will be working with the teachers to schedule lab time, help plan all of the hands-on learning activities and assist students while conducting experiments.  We’re excited to have her back again this year guiding us with her expertise and dedication.

We’ve decided to move our annual membership campaign to the beginning of the school year in an effort to get everyone on board earlier in the year.  And we have some great incentives in place to help encourage you to support us!

1. If we raise $30,000, we will not have a Spring fundraiser!
2. If we 80% of Addison families join, the Foundation will pay for an in-school, science-related field trip for all Addison students!
3. Every family who joins will be recognized on the Foundation’s Professor Addy mural.
